Shaun Smith is the founder and Managing Director of Smith Investment Group. With more than 25 years in the Australian finance market, the businesses he has founded, owned and operated have collectively facilitated more than $2 billion in loans.
That experience built the lender relationships, credit expertise and operational backbone that today underpin the entire Group and each of its six specialist brands.
The Role of the Group
As Managing Director, Shaun sets the strategic direction of the Group, oversees its compliance obligations as the Australian Credit Licence holder (ACL 502091) and chairs each operating brand. The Group provides capital allocation, governance and technology so each brand can focus entirely on its clients.
Cumulative loan volume reflects all finance businesses founded, owned or operated by Shaun Smith over his career — not Smith Investment Group alone.
